Paris Paralympic 2024 Indian Campaign Finish With 29 Medal: Paris Paralympic 2024 was a great success for India. India set a record for winning the most medals in the Paris Paralympics. India won a total of 29 medals, including 7 gold, 9 silver and 13 bronze. Earlier, India had set a record of winning the most medals at the Tokyo Paralympics, which was proudly broken by the para Indian athletes in Paris.
India won a total of 48 medals in the last two editions of the Paralympics. Whereas in the previous 11 editions, India had won only 12 medals. It can be clearly seen that a lot of improvement and change has been seen in the last two editions.
Before Paris, 54 Indian athletes had participated in the Tokyo Paralympics, which was the largest contingent at that time. Then in the Paris Paralympics, this contingent of India grew even bigger. Let us tell you that before the Tokyo Paralympics, India had won only 4 gold medals. Now in Paris Paralympics alone, India has won 7 gold medals and before this, India had won 5 gold medals in Tokyo.
