Paris Olympics 2024 India's Schedule Dates and Event Times: The opening ceremony of Paris Olympics 2024 is on July 26, but India's first event is on July 25. 117 Indian players participating in 69 medal events in 16 sports will take the field to bring glory to the country.

This Indian contingent is the largest ever. The athletics team is the largest team with 29 players, including Tokyo Olympics golden boy Neeraj Chopra. 21 players will represent India in shooting, which is much more than in previous editions.

Hope for first medal in Paris Olympics 2024

In archery, Deepika Kumari and Tarundeep Rai can get India its first medal in the ranking round on July 25. After this, on July 27, the pairs of Sandeep Singh/Elavenil Valarivan and Arjun Babuta/Ramita Jindal will enter the field in the mixed 10m air rifle event. Manu Bhaker will also be a contender for a medal in pistol events. On August 6, Neeraj Chopra will show his strength in the qualifiers of the javelin throw event and in the final on August 8. In badminton, PV Sindhu will bring glory to India from July 27 to August 5. Mirabai Chanu will participate in the women's 49kg weightlifting event on August 7. Lovlina Gorgahen, who won bronze medal in Tokyo 2020, will represent India in the boxing event starting on July 27. Two-time world champion Nikhat Zareen will also make her debut with her.

The live telecast of Paris Olympics will be available on Sports18 and DD Sports 1.0, while live streaming in India will be on JioCinema from July 26 to August 11, 2024.
