The reason for this is the decree of the Pakistan Cricket Board. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has asked all its national players participating in the Big Bash League (BBL) to return home immediately. Why did the board say so? The reason behind this is the Pakistan Super League.

The Pakistan Super League is starting from January 27 and the board wants the players to get full-time for the preparations for the 7th season of the league. For this reason, the PCB has asked Muhammad Hasnain, Fakhar Zaman, Harris Rauf, and Shadab Khan to return home immediately.

League matches will be held in Karachi and Lahore stadiums
The board has also confirmed that the PSL will be organized in two phases in Karachi and Lahore as per the schedule. The PCB has already released the schedule of the tournament. The matches will be played from January 27 to February 7 at the National Stadium in Karachi. Then the matches will be played in Lahore from February 10.

The first match of this season of the league will be played between Karachi Kings vs Multan Sultans. On February 10, the first match will be played between Multan Sultans vs Peshawar Zalmi at Lahore Stadium. A total of 30 matches will be played in the league till February 21. After this, the knockout phase will start.
