Let us tell you that for 12 years, the Indian cricket team has been waiting to become the world champion again and this time it has a good opportunity because the ODI World Cup is going to start in India on 5th October. Before the start of this tournament, Team India wanted to prepare itself completely and for this, it is trying itself in the Asia Cup. Team India's first two matches in the Asia Cup were affected due to rain and now it has to take the field again against Pakistan on September 10. But before this India-Pakistan clash, there was a huge disturbance in Team India which can cause huge harm to them not only in the Asia Cup but also in the World Cup.
Let us tell you that on September 10, India and Pakistan are going to face each other at R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. Although the weather is keeping an eye on this match, but still if the match takes place then everyone wants to see where Team India is in comparison to the previous two matches. Team India has played only two matches in the tournament so far and in these two matches, many of its shortcomings have come to light on every front and this is going to increase the tension of the team management.

* Batsmen looked helpless:
If we start with batting, we looked absolutely battered in the very first match. Mainly the top order was completely destroyed by Pakistan. Let us tell you that the batting of the Indian batsmen was a complete flop in front of the fastballs of Shaheen Shah Afridi, Naseem Shah, and Haris Rauf, the top 4 batsmen had returned to the pavilion after scoring only 66 runs. The partnership of Ishan Kishan and Hardik Pandya was definitely a bit of a relief, but after that, there was no support from the lower order. Overall, the strength of the batting and its depth were completely missing in the first match, which will need to be rectified in the next match.
* Bowling also remained absolutely breathless:
It was not too surprising if Indian batsmen struggled against Pakistan because currently, Babar Azam's team has the best pace attack. An even more disturbing scene for the Indian team was seen against Nepal. The Nepali team, which entered the Asia Cup for the first time, displayed excellent batting against India. Mainly the pace attack of Team India was easily defeated by Nepal's batsmen. In such a situation, if Nepal's batsmen can do this then it will not be easy for Pakistan to win with batting.

* Complete failure in fielding:
Let us tell you that the more disappointing aspect than batting and bowling was the fielding of the Indian team. If the bowlers did not perform well against Nepal, one of the major reasons for that was poor fielding. The Indian team lost three easy catches within the first 10 balls of the match. Shreyas Iyer, Virat Kohli, and Ishan Kishan did not capitalize on the opportunities given to Team India. Not only the catching but the ground fielding was also not very good and apart from some missed fields, overthrow problems were also seen. Now, if the situation continues like this, let alone winning the World Cup, the Indian team will not be able to make its place even in the final of the Asia Cup.
