Team India: The second Test match of the Border Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25 edition between Team India and Australia (IND VS AUS) will be played at the Adelaide ground from 6 December to 10 December. Captain Rohit Sharma will be seen making a comeback in the playing 11 in the Test match to be held at the Adelaide ground.

In such a situation, reports are coming that the selection committee and team management can now give the responsibility of opening in the playing 11 of the Adelaide Test match to this batsman and not Rohit Sharma but Yashasvi Jaiswal or KL Rahul.

Yashasvi may get rest in Pink Test match

According to reports coming from the selection committee and team management, captain Rohit Sharma will not give a chance to Perth's centurion Yashasvi Jaiswal to play in the playing 11 of the Adelaide Test match.

Reports are that captain Rohit Sharma wants to keep Yashasvi Jaiswal fit for the upcoming series. Due to which the team management can provide rest to Yashasvi Jaiswal in the Pink Ball Test match under work load management.

Rohit and Abhimanyu Easwaran can open
If captain Rohit Sharma excludes Yashasvi Jaiswal from the playing 11 of the Adelaide Test match, then the captain can give Abhimanyu Easwaran a chance to make his Test debut in the Adelaide Test match, but for that Abhimanyu Easwaran will have to do wonders with his bat in the practice match before the Pink Ball Test.
