There is not much time left for the start of the T20 series between India and Sri Lanka. The T20 series is to start from July 27 and before that Sri Lanka's head coach Sanath Jayasuriya has adopted an amazing strategy. Jayasuriya has associated a special person, who has been like a shadow with Sanju Samson in the IPL, with the Sri Lankan team. Sri Lanka's interim coach revealed that IPL team Rajasthan Royals' High Performance Director Zubin Bharucha has helped his batsmen in preparing for the T20 series.
What did Zubin Bharucha do?
Jayasuriya said, 'Sri Lanka team management brought Zubin from Rajasthan Royals and he worked with Sri Lankan batsmen for 6 days.' Jayasuriya said that after playing in the Lanka Premier League, other cricketers also joined him. Jayasuriya hoped that the players would have learned about practice and technique from Zubin. Zubin Bharucha is the person under whose guidance Rajasthan Royals have played fearlessly. Be it captain Sanju Samson, Yashasvi Jaiswal or Riyan Parag, all have performed well and all three are also included in the T20 team.
Will take advantage of Virat-Rohit's retirement!
Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma have said goodbye to T20 cricket and Sanath Jayasuriya said that the Sri Lankan team is going to take advantage of this. Jayasuriya said, 'Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli are the best players in the world. Looking at their talent and the kind of cricket they have played, we all know where they and Jadeja stand. Their absence is a loss for the Indian team and we have to take maximum advantage of it.' By the way, Sri Lanka has suffered a big setback before the T20 series. Team India's fast bowler Dushmantha Chameera has been ruled out of the T20 series due to injury.
