Cricket Ireland has released the schedule of the three-match T20 series against India. The Indian team will reach Ireland to play the T20 series after the West Indies tour. This series will start on 18th August. All three T20 matches will be played in Malahide. The ICC has tweeted this confirming the schedule. ICC wrote- Who is ready for the Malahide party? Ireland tour after West Indies tour
Before this, Team India will tour West Indies in July-August. During this, both teams will play a series of two Tests, three ODIs, and five T20 matches. This tour will run from 12 July to 13 August. Team India will go to Ireland after the last T20 match of India vs West Indies on 13th August. The BCCI has announced the team for the Test and ODI series against the West Indies, but the Indian team for the T20 series has not been announced. It is believed that BCCI will announce the team for West Indies and Ireland tour together.
What did the Chief Executive of Cricket Ireland say?
"We are delighted to welcome an Indian team to Ireland for the second time in 12 months. We saw two great India-Ireland matches in 2022," Warren Deutrom, Chief Executive of Cricket Ireland, said in a statement quoted by the ICC. All tickets for which were sold out. Therefore, having a three-match series this year will allow even more fans to enjoy an occasion that is always memorable."
