By Jitendra Jangid- India is currently struggling in the second Test against New Zealand in Pune, the whole country is hoping that the Indian cricket team will make a comeback. Meanwhile, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the team for the prestigious Border-Gavaskar Trophy against Australia, let us know which players got entry in the team for the Australia tour and who turned out to be unlucky-

Border-Gavaskar Trophy against Australia:
Captain: Rohit Sharma
Vice-Captain: Jasprit Bumrah
Team: The 18-member squad has a mix of experienced and emerging players. Abhimanyu Easwaran has made his place after a stellar performance in domestic cricket, while new players Harshit Rana and Nitish Kumar Reddy have been included for the first time.
Axar Patel and Shardul Thakur have been dropped from the Test squad. Mohammed Shami is recovering from surgery and Kuldeep Yadav is unavailable for treatment of a back problem.
KL Rahul has retained his place despite being dropped from the playing XI in the ongoing series against New Zealand.
