As soon as June approaches, the enthusiasm of Balwinder Sandhu, a member of the 1983 world-winning team, increases. Sandhu, who bowled dangerous opener Gordon Greenidge in the final, has still taken the lead in uniting the entire team of 83. Sandhu also had a major contribution to the production of the film 83 made on this team. Sandhu considers team bonding as the biggest mantra of 83's victory. He says that every member of the team had a very strong bond with each other, which continues to date.

The team is connected to the WhatsApp group
According to Sandhu, the entire team is still connected through a WhatsApp group, in which banter and banter continue like in the 1983 tour. Even during the round of 83, every member of the team would jokingly pull each other's legs, but it was all for laughs. No one used to mind anyone's words.

There was a team-like bonding among the artists as well.
Sandhu says that when 83 was being made and Kapil's role was given to Ranveer Singh, most of the actors were new. Then he told the director of the film that team bonding had a big hand in his success. A 10-day camp was organized in Dharamshala on how to build a connection between artists. Ranveer and the rest of the cast bonded like that between the 83 teams.

The team meets once a year
Sandhu says that the entire team endeavors to meet once a year. On or around June 25, such a program is organized, in which the whole team gathers together and gets lost in old memories.

The team misses Yashpal a lot
This time Yashpal Sharma was not with the team, he has passed away. Sandhu says that we all miss Yashpal very much. His departure is very difficult for the team. According to Sandhu, it was Yashpal's 89 in the first match against the West Indies, which had already turned the game around. Kapil Dev's innings of 175 against Zimbabwe, Kapil's catch of Richards in the final, and memorable all-around performances by Mohinder Amarnath and Yashpal were major contributors to the victory.
