Delhi Aiims: It is understandable if death occurs during treatment in the hospital. But even one death without treatment is no less than a tragedy. In such tragic and shameful cases, not only is the family broken, but their faith in the system of which they are a part is shaken. You will be shocked to know that such incidents that put humanity to shame have come to light from three big and renowned hospitals of Delhi.

Woman ran for 9 hours carrying sick husband

The matter is four days old. But it is gaining momentum. According to media reports, Sapna from Uttarakhand had come to Delhi about two weeks ago for the treatment of her husband Puneet Sharma. Her husband had tongue cancer. According to the victim, she went to three government hospitals with her husband, but her husband could not find a place anywhere.

According to Sapna, 'Husband Puneet was admitted to Delhi State Cancer Institute (DSCI) hospital on 16 March. On March 28, they referred him to AIIMS/GB Pant Hospital. Because there was no ICU there. We reached AIIMS around 8 pm where the doctors did not attend him. We were told that AIIMS does not have beds and ventilators, hence cannot recruit. Asked to go to Safdarjung Hospital. Nothing happened there either. I pleaded to admit my husband, but the hospital refused. Then I reached GB Pant Hospital, nothing happened there too. I kept running for hours and there was no hearing anywhere, so I took my husband back to DSCI, where on the morning of March 30, the helplessness of the system took my husband's life.

Sapna says that this is not the death of her husband but of the entire system. Which should be paid attention to. Now they are worried about how their life will go on.
