There are mountains around this village. Gola Gutta to the east, Ranganaikula Gutta to the west, Pamubanda Gutta to the south and Nambuladri Swami Gutta Hills to the north. This affects the time of sunrise and sunset.

It gets dark at 4 o'clock. As soon as the sun rises, Gola Gatta hill located in the east becomes the wall of the rising sun. Due to which sunlight arrives late in the village. The sun's rays fall on the village with a delay of sixty minutes as compared to other places.

At the same time, due to the sun setting behind Ranganayakul Gutta hill, the village gets dark only at 4 o'clock. At 4 pm, lights are lit in every house and street in the village. According to experts, the main reason behind the unusual weather conditions in the village is the reflection and refraction of light.
