YouTube has started rolling out the Picture-in-Picture (PIP) feature to everyone now. For your information, let us tell you that earlier the PIP feature was only for premium users, that is, only those who paid could use this feature, but now it is not so.
One condition with YouTube's PIP mode was that it was free for US users and paid for users outside the US. Now it has been made globally free. PIP mode was launched in the year 2021.
The advantage of PIP mode is that you can watch YouTube videos even while using any other app. If you are a non-premium user of YouTube and you have not seen this feature yet, then you will get it after an update.
No official information has been revealed by YouTube regarding this feature. This has been claimed in a leaked report. Let us tell you that the monthly price of YouTube Premium in India is Rs 129. For new users, a month plan is available free, and for students it is Rs 79. Five members of the family can participate in one plan.
