According to outage tracking website Downdetector.com, Alphabet Inc's YouTube was suddenly experiencing a crash error on Monday. This problem happened to thousands of users. On Monday, services like Google's Gmail and Workspace also stopped suddenly for some time during the day. Apart from India, this problem was faced by many users around the world.
The problem in Gmail and Work Space as well
Many types of complaints were received from the users. Some users reported that their account itself is showing as temporarily unavailable, they experienced a temporary issue (500). A user posted, Google is down for everyone. One cannot access personal or workspace Gmail and cannot use any AI device. However, Gmail's service was restored in no time.
There was a problem in syncing only with Gmail.
At the same time, the company also took this matter seriously and said that it is investigating the issue. Google said that IMAP syncs with Microsoft servers, due to which there is a problem with Gmail sync. That is, only users will have trouble syncing their email to the Outlook server. The company said in an update, "So far in the investigation by our engineering team, no problem has been found in the Gmail application."
