Almost every woman wants to look beautiful, young and attractive, but due to disturbances in eating habits, pollution, unhealthy lifestyle, etc., the complexion and glow of the face start decreasing. In such a situation, women go to the parlour and take various types of beauty treatments and also use expensive products. However, skin glowing starts appearing due to these things. But, you have to use these expensive things continuously.
In such a situation, you can try the easy and natural remedy i.e. Yoga. By doing yoga daily, the skin appears healthy and glowing in a few days. On the occasion of International Yoga Day, we are telling you about some such yogasanas, which you can easily do at home to keep your face young and glowing, even in old age. Yoga teacher Smriti is telling about these yogasanas.
Vakrasana
It is made up of two Sanskrit words Vakra and Asana. In this, the meaning of Vakra is 'to bend' and 'posture' of Asana. With this, you can reduce belly fat, make the body flexible, strengthen digestion, detox the body, boost metabolism and make the face glowing.
- Sit in Dandasan.
- While inhaling, straighten the spine.
- Then bend the left leg.
- Place the left foot on the ground above the right knee.
- Bend the right leg and place it on the ground near the left hip.
- Bring the right hand over the left foot and then grab the toe of the left foot.
- While exhaling, bend the upper part of the body as much as possible.
- Now by turning the neck, focus on the left shoulder with the eyes.
- Rest the left hand on the ground and breathe normally.
- Stay in this pose for 30 seconds and come back to the old position.
- Repeat the yoga from the other side.
Jhulan Lurkanasana
You must have heard very little about this asana. But, it strengthens the spine as well as makes the face glow. This is because it improves blood circulation.
- To do this asana, lie down on your back.
- Bend both legs from the knees.
- Now move the knees towards the chest.
- Hold the feet near the knees with the hands.
- Then take the breath inward and release the breath while swinging forward.
- Now inhale while rolling backwards.
- Keep the head safe while doing this asana.
- Sit on the legs while swinging forward.
- Breathe in and exhale.
Shavasana
- Lie down on your back.
- Keep a distance of at least one foot between both feet.
- Keep some distance between the waist and hands.
- Keep the palms open.
- Keep leaving the body loose towards the feet.
- Then leave the whole body loose.
- Breathe easy.
- Do this for 3 minutes.
- Then come back to the old posture.
Yogmudrasana
This yoga asana strengthens the abdominal muscles and removes problems related to digestion such as constipation and indigestion. This brings a glow to the face.
- Sit in Padmasan.
- Then hold the wrist of the other hand with one hand from behind the back.
- Leave the body loose.
- While slowly bending the body in front, try to put the forehead on the ground.
- Exhale while bending forward.
- Avoid raising the waist and hips.
- Stay in this posture for some time and come back to the old position.
Other measures
- Keep away from refined sugar and refined flour. These are the enemies of your health, which irritate the body.
- Take Vitamin D daily in the morning.
- Drink tea made of coriander, cumin and fennel once or twice a day. It keeps digestion right.
- Sleep on time at night i.e. by 10.30 and wake up by 5.30 in the morning.
- Have food on time.
- Avoid applying chemical-rich face wash and moisturizer.
- Do facial exercises.
- Eat one seasonal fruit daily.
- Avoid drinking too much tea and coffee.
