In today's time, people have started resorting to yoga to overcome their many health problems. Problems ranging from obesity to hormonal imbalance and blood pressure can be cured through yoga. All that is required is that you practice the right posture in the right way. For example, if a person has a problem with low BP, then he should refrain from practising some asanas.

Please tell that when the blood pressure of any person is 120/80, then it is considered normal blood pressure. But when the blood pressure goes below 90/60, it is called low BP or hypotension. In this condition, the person feels dizzy, blurred vision, nausea or fainting.

However, this can be rectified by the practice of some yogasanas regularly. At the same time, there are some asanas which you should avoid doing. So, in this article today, Dr. Neha VashishtKarki, Yoga expert and President of Women's Health Research Foundation, is telling you about some such asanas, which should be avoided by low blood pressure patients-

Tadasana

Tadasana is a very easy asana and it is considered very beneficial for health. It is effective in increasing the height of children and reducing the risk of heart disease. Anyone from children to old people can do it easily. But if you have low BP, then you should not practice this asana. This posture makes blood attack your lower body, due to which you may have problems.

Virabhadrasana

Virabhadrasana is such an asana, which provides strength from your shoulders to your hands and feet. This asana is also helpful in improving the balance of your body. When it is practised, the blood circulation in the body improves and the supply of oxygen increases. This also increases the energy level in the body.

But despite having so many benefits of Virabhadrasana, you should not practice it. If there is a problem with low blood pressure, it is also advised not to practice Virabhadrasana. In this too, the circulation of blood increases towards the lower part of the body.

Cutting edge

Katichkrasan is one such yoga asana, which is known to give better shape to the body. When it is practised, it removes the fat stored on your stomach and waist. Along with this, regular practice of this asana also gives relief from the problem of constipation and gas. This is the reason why most people practice this asana in their yoga sessions.

But if you often have complaints of low BP, then avoid practisingKatichkrasan. This posture increases the circulation of blood towards the lower part of the body, which can increase the problem of low blood pressure patients.

If you also have the problem of low BP, then you must consult your yoga expert once before practising any asana.
