Therefore, today we are telling you about 3 such breathing yoga asanas, which you can, do just for 10 minutes daily to make your lungs healthy. Expert says, “Lungs are an important part of the body. But, due to today's lifestyle and pollution, lung infections are increasing. Due to this, we can become victims of respiratory problems like asthma, TB etc. In such a situation, you can take the help of yoga.

Bhastrika Pranayama

This pranayam removes the problems related to phlegm. Doing this daily strengthens the respiratory system and removes all throat-related problems. Also, doing Bhastrika Pranayama increases blood circulation in the lungs, which strengthens the lungs. Apart from this, doing this increases the ability to fight the harmful effects of air pollution.

Method of Bhastrika Pranayama

  • To do this, sit in Padmasana posture.
  • Keep the neck and spine straight.
  • Now take a long breath and fill air in the lungs.
  • Then exhale rapidly in one go.
  • Do this asana at least 10 times at a time.

Kapalbhati

By doing Kapalbhati, there is good blood circulation in the entire body. This is good yoga for the lungs; it keeps the respiratory system healthy. Apart from this, due to the process of exhalation, the lungs function properly for a long time.

Kapalbhati method

  • To do this, sit in Vajrasana.
  • Place both hands on the knees.
  • Sit in meditation posture keeping the spine straight.
  • Take a deep long breath and exhale slowly.
  • Then exhale through the nose.
  • When breathing out, pull the stomach inwards.
  • Do this continuously.
  • While doing this, keep your mouth closed.
  • Just inhale and exhale breaths through the nose.
  • Do this 15 to 20 times.

Anulom-Vilom

Doing Anulom-Vilom daily strengthens the lungs and protects against problems like colds, coughs and asthma to a great extent. Apart from this, Anulom-Vilom is the best way to relieve stress.

Method of AnulomaVilom

  • To do this, sit on the mat.
  • Then hold the right nose with the right thumb.
  • Breathe in through the left nose.
  • Now close the left nostril with the ring finger.
  • Then open your right nostril and exhale.
  • Breathe in through the right nose only.
  • Repeating this process, exhale through the left nostril.
