Dr. Pradeep says that sometimes people do not consider binge drinking as bad, but in reality, it affects the heart a lot. Along with other parts of the body, it can also harm the heart.

There is a risk of cardiomyopathy

The first danger that comes from drinking alcohol excessively is cardiomyopathy. Actually, due to excessive alcohol intake, you have the problem of hypertension and due to this; the muscles of the heart become weak. Due to this, there is also a problem with pumping blood and if this continues continuously, there may be a problem with heart failure.

Most people think that drinking alcohol only causes liver problems, but not only the liver, it also affects the heart a lot.

Problems caused by drinking too much alcohol

The problem of heart disease mentioned above can happen to both men and women, but if we talk about only women, then excessive alcohol can cause a lot of trouble.

In the research of the Centers for Disease Control, it is revealed that due to excessive drinking of women, they can have both physical and mental problems.

Actually, the way women's body structure is made, they absorb more alcohol than men.

  1. The problem of liver cirrhosis in women can be more due to drinking alcohol. Women suffer from it more than men.
  2. Alcohol affects women more than men, it can also affect the brain.
  3. Women's alcohol consumption is also linked to breast cancer.
  4. Drinking alcohol during pregnancy puts the baby at risk of fetal alcohol spectrum disorders (FASD).
  5. Excessive consumption of alcohol increases the risk of miscarriage, a stillborn baby and many congenital diseases.
  6. Drinking too much alcohol can also cause bloating and excessive cramps in women.
  7. Drinking alcohol during periods can lead to a period of blood thinning or extra bleeding, which can increase your problems.
  8. Cramps can also occur in the legs and hands and excessive alcohol can also cause water retention in the body.

It is not so bad if you are drunk within a limit, but if you are consuming too much alcohol then there is more scope for increasing the problem. One thing is to be understood if you consume too much alcohol, then permanent damage can also happen to the body.
