Dr Agnes Dupret-Bourie and Dr Benjamin Valéry suggested to Carine that they could re-grow her nose. Its doctors created a customized nose using 3D-printed biomaterial techniques. After this, it was kept in ice for two months and after that when the nose came in its right shape, it was transplanted inside the woman's hand because the skin there is very thin.
According to Dr Agnes Dupret-Borries, 'the woman was very eager for the operation. After the nose was fully developed, a microscope was used to connect the blood vessels (blood vessels) of the nose and face. The skin of his thigh was used for the skin that was changed. The woman stayed in the hospital for 10 days and after that, she went home.
Dr Dupret-Borij continued, 'The woman has successfully undergone two surgeries which have transplanted the nose correctly onto her face. The woman can breathe better and feel the fragrance. But right now he doesn't feel that he has a nose on his face. For this, we will do another surgery after some time.
