Is there a white layer visible on your tongue in the morning? So you need to pay attention to this. Often, due to not cleaning properly, a white layer starts accumulating on the tongue. Also, if you do not drink enough water, your tongue may turn white.
However, this is not a disease and heals on its own after some time. But, sometimes it can be a sign of stomach upset. Ayurveda doctor and health coach DrAishwarya Santosh is telling us about its causes and remedies.
Reasons for white tongue
The expert says, “Apart from giving taste to things, the tongue is also a mirror of our health, which tells about the disturbances inside the body. Also, it gives us information about the dosha imbalance in the body. Apart from this, the whiteness of the tongue is also a sign that there is a problem of inflammation in your body.
"In other words, you can say that the white appearance of the tongue after waking up in the morning indicates that your digestive system is not working properly. It also means that your metabolism has slowed down and food is not being digested properly. Due to this, toxins accumulate in the body and Kaphadosha becomes unbalanced.
Apart from this, due to the weakening of the immune system, the tongue also starts appearing white. Due to weakness in immunity, the number of bacteria on the tongue increases. Apart from this, this problem also occurs due to a deficiency of Vitamin B12 and iron in the body.
