Meta-owned instant multimedia messaging app WhatsApp has ended a long wait for millions of users. Now the feature of sharing HD photos has come in WhatsApp. This feature was being demanded for a long time. WhatsApp's HD photos were being tested on the beta version for the last month and it has been released for everyone.
WhatsApp users can now share photos in HD (2000x3000 pixels) or standard (1365x2048 pixels) quality, although the uploading will depend on your internet speed. Apart from this, the storage of your phone will also fill up quickly.
To send photos in HD on WhatsApp, first update your app. Now when you send a photo to someone, you will also get the option to choose the quality of the photo. It was not there earlier. By default the photos shared on WhatsApp will be in SD but you can change its quality to HD before sending. In the chat box, you will now see an HD button on the top, from where you can change the quality of the photo. HD video feature is going to come soon in WhatsApp.
Let us know that WhatsApp has recently launched the Screen Sharing feature which is for video calling. After the new update, users of WhatsApp will be able to share their screen during video calls via video calling apps like Google Meet and Zoom.
