WhatsApp is used by millions of people in India and it is adding more and more useful features with time for better user experience. The messaging platform offers several ways to hide your chats. It's called the Chat Lock feature, using which not only does it let you hide chats, but also allows you to add additional locks to a specific chat.

How to hide WhatsApp chat with Chatlock
The first method is the newly added Chat Lock feature, which WhatsApp has recently released for all users. Its name itself suggests what it is. This will let you add a lock on your super personal chat. This feature is available for both Android and iOS. The feature automatically silences your notifications and only tells you that a new message has arrived from (locked) chat.
To start it, go to any chat > go to profile > scroll down to tap on Chat Lock.
Now tap on Lock this chat with fingerprint or Lock this chat with Face ID.
How to hide WhatsApp chat with the archive option
First open WhatsApp and long press on any chat.
Now tap on the Archive icon, which is in the top right corner. The icon has a box with a down arrow.
After following the steps mentioned above, your chats will be hidden. Hidden chats will appear either at the top of all chats or at the end of them inside the archive folder.
