Finally, WhatsApp has released the View Once feature for voice messages. For your information, let us tell you that if you send a photo, video, or message by turning on the View Once feature, such messages disappear once they are viewed. Such messages cannot be viewed again.
The view once feature for voice messages has been named one-time, that is, the voice message can be played only once. This feature has been released, and soon users of all countries will get its update. Its update is being released gradually.
According to WhatsApp, the purpose of View Once is to give the best privacy to the users. If any user sends a PIN, bank information, or anything very personal to someone then he can use this feature. Using this feature, a file or message can be viewed only once and cannot be saved.
How to turn on the View Once feature for voice messages?
Open the chat window in the WhatsApp app.
Now tap on the mic icon shown below and hold it.
After this, lock the recording by swiping upwards.
Now you will see the View Once icon, click on it.
Send a message now. The receiver can only hear the audio once after you send it. After that, it will disappear.
If the receiver does not view your message for 14 days, the message will automatically disappear.
