According to WhatsApp leaks website Wabetainfo, the WhatsApp beta for Android 2.24.14.14 update available on Google Play Store has revealed that the messaging app is working on video notes and is going to roll it out soon. To send a video note, you have to long-press the camera icon near the chat bar. You will see three options in the camera - video, photo, and video note. You can record and send video messages with video notes.
Apart from Android, WhatsApp is available on iOS version 24.13.10.76. For this, you have to sign up through the Test Flight program. It is worth noting that WhatsApp introduced Instant Video Notes in 2023, allowing users to record and send 60-second video messages directly in the chat. The platform recently started testing a new shortcut button to quickly respond to video notes.
