- First, go to WhatsApp and tap on the Chats tab. After that navigate to Settings by going to More Options.
- After that tap on Storage and data and go to the Manage Storage option.
- Now at the top, you will see multiple forwarded messages. After this, you will see the option of a file larger than 5 MB.
- Now by going to the section of your need, you can select any given file option one by one or you can delete it by selecting it together.
- Now to delete, select the items which you want to delete first. And then tap on the delete icon appearing at the top right corner of the app.
- Apart from this, you can delete items from the chat using the Search feature. To do this, go to the Chats section and then tap on Photos, Videos, and Documents. Now find the item you want to delete and tap on More. And then tap on the Delete button.
