Today we are in special need of PAN cards. PAN card is used for financial transactions or any specific work related to it. Not only this, whether it is trading in the stock market or investing in mutual funds. At these places also we have a special need of PAN cards. PAN card has a ten-digit alphanumeric number, which is issued by the Income Tax Department. Along with doing many types of financial transactions, we also need a PAN card for filing income tax returns. Not only this, a PAN card is also used for applying for any kind of loan or starting a new business. In such a situation, it would not be wrong to say that a PAN card is very useful for us. If the PAN card is lost or broken somewhere. In such situations, people become very worried. If your PAN card is lost or broken somewhere, then instead of worrying, you can download the e-PAN card.

For this, you have to log in to the Income Tax portal (https://www.incometax.gov.in/iec/foportal/). After this, you have to select the option of Instant e-PAN on the home page.

Now a new page of e-PAN will open on your screen. Here you have to click on the option of Click Get New e-PAN. Now you have to enter the UID number on the new page opened on the screen and select the confirm checkbox. After this, you have to click on the Continue button.
On the next step, on the OTP validation page, click on I have read the terms and agree to proceed further. After this, enter the OTP received on the mobile number registered with Aadhaar. After doing this, select the checkbox to verify Aadhaar details with UIDAI and select the Continue option.

Now you have to select the I accept checkbox option on the Validation Aadhaar details page and click on Continue. As soon as you do this, a successful message will be written on your mobile. Here you have to note down your acknowledgment ID.

After requesting for e-PAN, you will get a number to download it. To download e-PAN, you have to log in to the e-filing portal. Now you have to select the option to view/download service e-PAN on the dashboard. After this, you have to enter the Aadhaar number and click on the Continue option. After doing this, you can easily download your e-PAN by entering the OTP received on the mobile.
