WhatsApp launched the Channel feature a few days ago, which is an extension of the Broadcast feature of WhatsApp. The number of users of WhatsApp channels has crossed the 500 million mark in a very short time in India. All this has happened within just 7 weeks of the launch of the channel. Now a new report is claiming that the company is going to provide a different feature for the WhatsApp channel.
Users will now be able to request for unblocking if a WhatsApp channel is banned or suspended. A separate feature is coming for this. Information about this new feature has been given by WABetaInfo which tracks all the features of WhatsApp. Currently, this feature is in beta testing mode and after some time it will be released for everyone.
WhatsApp is also banned in the same way as your account. The company's content policy fully applies to the WhatsApp channel. In case your account is suspended or banned, you will not be able to share any message, photo, or video from your channel with anyone.
If you share any content on the channel that falls in the category of spam or share any objectionable content and someone complains about it, then your channel may be suspended. Usually, WhatsApp reviews any complaint on its own and ends the suspension, but in many special circumstances, users have to make a request.
