Many people resort to dieting to lose weight, but it is not wise to give up the consumption of any food or meal without thinking. Many people consider starvation to be the only solution to reduce their belly and waist fat. For this, they skip dinner but is it right to do so in terms of health? Regarding this, we talked to Ayushi Yadav, a famous dietician working at GIMS Hospital in Greater Noida.
Should I skip dinner or not?
Dietician Ayushi Yadav told that for good health and weight loss, we should have a healthy breakfast and a light dinner, but if you think that skipping dinner will result in weight loss, then you are living somewhere in error. The weight may increase instead of decrease.
Disadvantages of not having dinner
1. If you do not have dinner, then there may be a deficiency of important nutrients in the body, as well as there may be problems with mood swings. It has been proved in many types of research that being hungry at night reduces the blood sugar level, due to which there can be complaints of irritability.
2. The second biggest disadvantage of skipping dinner is that it slows down the metabolic rate of the body. This will either increase the weight, or it will be difficult to lose weight.
3. Due to not eating food at night, your brain function has a very bad effect, in this, your stress level can increase, due to which you can become a victim of depression.
4. Leaving not only dinner but any tight food can harm your body, if you do this regularly then weakness will start coming into the body.
