Every bride wants to look beautiful on her special day. That's why the bride-to-be should take good care of her before marriage and follow a healthy diet plan.
But, the days before the wedding are hectic and there is a long list of things to do. Hence the bride must maintain an easy and effective diet plan that she can follow amidst the hustle and bustle of the wedding day. Here are some diet tips for the bride-to-be. Dietician Garima Goyal ji is giving us information about these tips.
1. Do not take a crash diet
Crash dieting means a sudden reduction in calorie intake and a gap of more than 5-6 hours between meals or longer. Such a diet takes a toll on your health. It helps in reducing water weight, which you gain back in no time. This type of time demands a healthy diet instead of a low-calorie diet.
2. Dinner by 7
Try to have your dinner before 7-8 in the evening. The logic behind this is that the last meal of the day should be taken at least 3-4 hours before bedtime to give proper rest to the body.
3. A little exercise
Do take out 45 minutes from your busy schedule for the body. For this, it is necessary to walk at high speed. Not only is it essential for weight loss, but it also releases feel-good hormones called endorphins and makes the skin glow.
4. Mini Meal
The main policy of a diet plan for a bride-to-be is to eat small and frequent meals every 2-3 hours. This is the perfect way to distribute calories throughout the day.
5. Abstain from alcohol
Alcohol not only affects the skin, but it can also make you gain a little weight. Keeping a distance from this is good for the physical health of the bride.
6. Stay Hydrated
It is important to drink at least 8-10 glasses of water a day. Waterworks in many ways for a healthy body. The most important is to detox and cleanse the body. Detoxing the body is a great way to get flawless skin, shine in hair and nails and lose weight.
Wherever you go these days, keep a sipper or water bottle with you. The water level of the body can also be maintained by consuming fresh fruit juices, coconut water, lemonade, and fruit or vegetable juices with high water content.
7. Have a Food Rainbow
Include fresh fruits and vegetables in your diet as much as possible. The rich anti-oxidants present in them promote the functioning of the body and also clean the dirt from the body. They enhance the texture and elasticity of the skin.
8. Avoid 'white' things
All those foods which are refined like maida (refined flour), white rice, and white sugar should be avoided. These are responsible for increasing belly fat and can make you age prematurely.
9. Include Healthy Fats
Foods that are rich sources of Omega 3 and Omega 6 fatty acids should be consumed such as avocados, nuts and seeds (sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, chia seeds etc.). This is the best way to improve the health of skin and hair. They are responsible for the natural shine of the skin and hair.
10. Get a good night's sleep
Sleep is something that most brides forget about but it can easily reduce stress. When you sleep, the body uses the food eaten during the day for its proper role. Getting enough rest is also important for weight loss as it helps curb and reduce appetite.
Any diet plan is always successful with consistency. Maintaining a healthy body weight requires a healthy diet and some physical activity daily.
