According to the calendar, Vishwakarma Jayanti will be celebrated on 17 September 2023. Although Devshilpi Lord Vishwakarma will be worshiped throughout the day, the auspicious time for his worship is from 10.15 am to 12.26 pm on 17th September.
Vishwakarma puja method

On the day of Vishwakarma Puja, clean all offices, shops, workshops, factories, whether small or big institutions.

All types of tools or items should be worshiped on this day.

For worship, first of all, the Kalash should be established at the place of worship.

An idol or picture of Lord Vishwakarma should be installed. Yagya etc. are also organized on this day.

It is considered best to meditate on Lord Vishnu during worship.

On this day, take flowers, Akshat recite mantras, and sprinkle Akshat all around. After this, tie the Raksha Sutra on your hands and on all the machines.

Then light a lamp while meditating on Lord Vishwakarma and offer flowers and betel nuts.

After worshiping as per the rituals, perform the Aarti of Lord Vishwakarma.

Offer Prasad in the form of Bhog, and rotate Aarti in the entire premises of the place where you are worshipping.

Importance of Vishwakarma Puja
By worshiping Lord Vishwakarma on the day of Vishwakarma Puja, all the wishes of the devotees are fulfilled. Also, there is progress and advancement in business. Worshiping them infuses new energy into the person and removes all the problems and obstacles in work like business or construction etc.

According to beliefs, the palaces and weapons of the gods were built by Lord Vishwakarma, hence he is called the god of construction. It is also said in the scriptures that on the instructions of Brahmaji, Vishwakarma ji had built Indrapuri, Lanka in Treta, Dwarka, and Hastinapur in Dwapar, Jagannath Puri in Kaliyuga etc. Apart from this, Sudarshan Chakra, Shiva's Trishul, Pushpak Viman, and Indra's Vraj were also made by Lord Vishwakarma for Lord Vishnu.

The construction of Pushpak Vimana is considered to be a very important creation of his. The buildings of all the gods and the weapons used by them were also constructed by Vishwakarma ji.
