During Roza, Sehri i.e. the food eaten before sunrise is a very important meal, which gives you energy and nutrition for the whole day. So carrot kheer is best for Sehri.
Material :
Roasted Quaker Oats - 15 grams Skimmed milk - 300 ml Grated carrots - 50 grams Honey - 1 tsp Green cardamom - 1 Orange zest - 1 tsp Chopped almonds - 5-6
Method :
First roast the oats.
Put the milk to a boil.
Lower the flame and add grated carrots to it. Let the carrots cook in this for about 10 minutes.
After this add roasted oats to it.
When the kheer starts to thicken, add honey, cardamom powder, and orange zest to it.
Stirring continuously, cook for a few more minutes.
After this add chopped almonds to it.
Kheer is ready to serve.
