Tesla CEO Elon Musk has said that no one will be recruited by the company without his approval. In an email sent to officials, Musk has instructed that a list of names of people to be recruited should be sent to them every week. Not only this, but the officers have also been instructed to think carefully about recruitment.
According to the news agency, Musk has said that no one can join Tesla until the recruiting officers receive an email of approval from him. Not even a contractor.
Significantly, only last month the company had shown its lowest quarterly profit. This was also less than the market's estimates, as Tesla has been continuously cutting prices of its cars in countries like the US and China to increase demand.
Musk announced last week that he was stepping down as CEO of Twitter. Musk hired NBC Universal's advertising chief Linda Yacarino to take over, saying it would give her more time to focus on Tesla. It is believed that soon after this, Musk may talk to shareholders at Tesla's headquarters in Austin, Texas.
