Whenever you buy a car, you have to get it registered. At the same time, the number plate of your vehicle also arrives within a few days of purchasing the vehicle. For example, for Delhi, the numbers start with DL, while for Uttar Pradesh the numbers start with UP. What is the BH number plate?
BH number plates are called Bharat series number plates. The vehicle on which such a number plate is installed is valid throughout India. In this number plate, first of all, numbers like 21, 22, and 23 are written on it, these indicate when the vehicle was registered. After this, BH is written in it which means India.

Who can take it?
If we talk about availing it, at present those government employees who are transferred to other states can avail of its benefits.
Those employees of private companies can also get these number plates installed, whose offices are in at least four states and they can be transferred there. However, this requires documents.

Step 1
If you are buying a new vehicle and you want to get a BH number plate, then as per the rules the dealer will have to fill out the online form on the vehicle portal.
Copies of related documents will have to be attached and fees will have to be paid online.

Step 2
Then if everything is found correct, the BH number is issued to you by the RTO.
Keep in mind that whichever state your vehicle is registered in, it is mandatory to obtain NOC from the registration office of that state.

This is the advantage but registration is a bit expensive
If we talk about the BH number series, it has been specially designed for those people who keep getting transferred or those who do such jobs. In such a situation, having a BH number plate, these people can take their vehicle without any problem.
At the same time, registration of BH is expensive compared to other number plates, because the upfront cost of its registration is high.
