There is good news for the candidates preparing for civil services examinations. Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the calendar for the examinations to be held in 2024. Candidates can check the updated calendar on the official website of UPSC, upsc.gov.in.
The Civil Services Examination considered one of the toughest examinations in the country, is scheduled for May 26, 2024. The application process for this examination can start in February 2024. The latest calendar also provides details of the examinations to be held at the end.

Visit the official website of UPSC upsc.gov.in.
Click on the “Examination” link on the homepage.
Go to the link "Annual Calendar 2024".
The calendar will open on the next page in PDF format, where you can see the exam dates.
As per the exam calendar, the Combined Defense Services 2023 and Indian Forest Service exam will be held on May 26 and the notification will be released on December 20, 2023. The Commission will release the notification for the NDA & NA Exam 2024 and CDS Exam on December 20, 2023. The examinations for National Defense Academy (NDA) and Naval Academy (NA) Examination 2024 and Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination 2024 will be held on April 21.
UPSC has set the date for the Civil Services (Main) exam as September 20, 2024, which will be conducted over five days. The Indian Forest Service (Main) Exam 2024 is scheduled for November 24 and will be conducted over seven days. Candidates should note that if any examination is canceled, it will be held on the reserved day. If circumstances permit, the notice, commencement, and duration of the examinations may be changed. If there is any change, an official notification will be issued.
