According to a report, there are 125 million 5G subscribers in India, and telecom companies are giving them unlimited 5G data for free. But now it is being said that soon these companies are going to stop the service of unlimited 5G. After the closure of unlimited 5G data, new plans will also come which will be for 5G.
According to a report by Economics Times, the price of the new 5G plan will be 5-10 percent more expensive than the 4G plan, that is, if a plan is priced at Rs 500, it will soon become Rs 550.
It is also said in the report that by September 2024, telecom companies can increase the prices of their plans by up to 20 percent.
It may start by mid-2024. It is estimated that by the end of 2024, the number of 5G users in the country will reach 200 million.
It is also being said that if 5G plans are expensive then the data in the new 5G plan will be 30-40 percent more as compared to 4G. At present, no official statement has been issued by the telecom companies on this.
