Typhoid is a disease that is more common in developing countries. It spreads due to Salmonella bacteria when we consume contaminated water or food. People suffering from this disease often complain of fatigue, headache, high fever, diarrhea, constipation, and stomach pain. Its bacteria directly attack our digestive tract. If your immunity is weak then you can easily fall victim to this disease. During this, some special things should not be eaten at all.
In case of typhoid fever, we should completely stop eating spicy food, because it affects the digestive system even more. You should not eat any foods that contain excessive amounts of red chili, jalapeno, paprika, green chili, and vinegar.
Since our digestive system becomes weak during typhoid, we should not eat fiber-rich foods because then it will become difficult to digest them. You should avoid raw vegetables, oats, barley, seeds, whole grains, nuts, and pulses.
Although dry fruits are considered very healthy, if you get typhoid then do not eat them even by mistake, like walnuts, almonds, and pistachios. It is not easy to digest and it increases the problem in typhoid.
It is advised not to eat all types of oily foods during typhoid, as such things increase pressure on the digestive system and stomach. You should completely curb pakodas, french fries, chicken fry, potato tikki, and chips.
Some vegetables can harm typhoid patients, such as cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, and asparagus. Vegetables like gas and bloating in the stomach can increase the problem, which can worsen the health.
