Video streaming platform Netflix has banned the password-sharing feature in India. That is, no user will be able to share his Netflix ID password with his friend or family.

However, two users can use the same Netflix account at the same time, but both need to be in the same location. Simply put, Netflix wants its one account to be used by multiple people in the same household, not even friends and relatives.

Netflix will verify this through IP address, device ID, network, etc. If multiple people are using the same account, then verification will be done through a code every seven days. Apart from this, it will be necessary to connect your device to your home location at least once in a month.
