More cases of this type of cancer have been reported in rural parts of India. Some chemicals contained in tobacco smoke and chewing tobacco are carcinogenic, meaning they can cause genetic changes in the cells of the oral cavity, which can lead to oral cancer.

What is the effect of quitting tobacco production?
Based on the study, researchers reported that within one year of quitting tobacco products, the risk of coronary heart disease is halved. Apart from this, there was a dramatic decrease in the risk of heart attack within a year in such people. Your risk of mouth, throat, esophagus, and bladder cancer is cut in half within 5 years of quitting tobacco. The risk of cervical cancer in women is higher in smokers, it can be avoided by leaving tobacco cigarettes.
