What is the RSWL waiting list?
Whenever a passenger books a ticket in Indian Railways. And when the ticket is not confirmed, the ticket goes to the waiting list. There are a total of seven types of waiting in railways. These have code names like GNWL, RLWL, PQWL, RLGN, and RSWL. If you have booked a ticket and your ticket is on the RSWL waiting list.

RSWL waiting list means roadside waiting list. When a passenger books a ticket, he books for the roadside stations near the starting station of the train, i.e. the station from where the train departed. Then this waiting list is given. However, the chances of the ticket getting confirmed in this are very low.

What is the CKWL waiting list?
When people are not getting confirmed tickets in general reservations in Indian Railways, then they use the Tatkal quota and book tickets under it. But even when the ticket is booked in the Tatkal quota, the ticket does not get confirmed. So there also it goes into waiting.

Then in such a situation CKWL waiting list is given. In the CKWL waiting list, CK is the code for the Tatkal quota. Let us tell you that in CKWL i.e. Tatkal waiting list the chances of a ticket getting confirmed are the lowest.
