Follow these tips to avoid heat stroke
- It is the hottest from 9 am to 4 pm. In such a situation, first of all, you should avoid going out in the heat. If you go out for any important work, then definitely wear a cap, full-sleeve shirt and shoes, this will protect you from heatstroke. Will avoid getting hit by this.
- Choose clothes wisely. You may become a victim of heatstroke because of your clothes. You should wear cotton cloth only, it will not stick to your body, due to which your body temperature will be maintained.
- Most importantly, stay hydrated. You can keep yourself healthy by drinking an adequate amount of water. Apart from plain water, you can drink lemon water and coconut water. Experts say that even if you do not feel thirsty, still try to drink water as often as possible. If you are travelling, make sure you have a water bottle with you and sip water now and then.
- Avoid drinking tea and coffee in this season, they contain caffeine which can dehydrate your body. Due to this, you can get affected by heat stroke.
- Avoid eating fatty, spicy and fried foods in summer. These foods can have a negative impact on the functioning of the system that regulates body temperature. This can cause water loss from the body.
- During this time, eat small meals, and consume as many fruits and vegetables as possible, this will increase your energy, keep the body cool and reduce the chances of heat stroke. Always eat fresh food. Never leave the house on an empty stomach and also avoid staying hungry for a long time.
