Skin rashes are common, but their causes vary. Often due to weather changes, skin rashes start happening. Rashes occur due to excessive sunlight in the summer season. If your skin is oily and you sweat a lot, this is also a reason for rashes. Today in this article Shahnaz Hussain will tell you how to get rid of sun rash.

Vinegar will work

Vinegar can be used for skin rashes. Mix one tablespoon of vinegar in one mug of water. Now take a bath with this water. Helps in relieving itching caused by skin rashes.

Use sandalwood

Sandalwood powder will be useful to get rid of skin rashes. Mix a little rose water in sandalwood powder. Now apply this paste to the affected area. After about 15 minutes, clean the paste with plain water. Using this paste daily will reduce the rashes. Along with cooling the skin, sandalwood also reduces the problem of acne.

Neem leaves will come in handy

Neem leaves are used for skin rashes. For this, put a handful of neem leaves in 4 cups of water and boil on a very low flame for one hour. Let this water stay in the pot overnight. The next morning, filter the water in a bottle with the help of a strainer. Use this water to wash your face. Neem has anti-septic and anti-fungal properties, which help reduce the discomfort of rashes.

Tips to Remember

  • Rashes are more likely to occur on oily skin. This is due to congestion. Sometimes due to dandruff, rashes also occur on the forehead and cheeks. In such a situation, dandruff has to be treated. Pillow covers should be washed daily. Hair should be kept away from the face. Keep in mind that the skin with rashes should not be scrubbed.
  • For rashes caused by oily skin, wash your face with medicated soap twice a day, morning and night. Apply astringent lotion with cotton. You will find this lotion at cosmetic stores. Apply cucumber juice and wash after 15 minutes.
  • Avoid washing the face multiple times with soap and water, as this disturbs the normal pH balance of the skin. However, the face may be washed several times with plain water, especially in hot, humid weather.
  • Do not use your fingernails if the rash is itchy, as it can lead to infection. Mix one part vinegar with three parts water. Dip a cotton pad in the solution and apply on the face. It helps in reducing itching and also restores normal balance. If the rash is due to an oily skin condition, make a solution by adding a little bicarbonate of soda to water and wash your face with it. It also reduces itching and oiliness.
