Reliance Foundation chairperson and billionaire Mukesh Ambani's wife Nita Ambani recently visited Varanasi to invoke Lord Shiva at the Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple ahead of her son Anant Ambani's wedding to Radhika Merchant. During her visit, she tasted the local cuisine and stopped at a popular chaat shop where she enjoyed various delicacies. Nita remarked that her husband Mukesh would have loved the food there, which shows his love for street food.

At the chaat shop, Nita interacted with locals and tasted dishes like the famous Aloo Chaat. She said, "Mukesh loves it a lot," which shows his love for street food experiences. Mukesh Ambani is known to be a regular patron of Mumbai's Swati Snacks, a favourite eatery he visits weekly.

Swati Snacks, a modest quick-service restaurant in Mumbai, is famous for its authentic Gujarati cuisine and has been a favourite of the Ambani family for three generations. Current owner Asha Jhaveri reveals in her autobiography that the Ambani family cannot go without ordering from Swati Snacks every week. Founded in 1963 by Asha's mother Meenakshi Jhaveri, the restaurant has grown from one outlet to four locations - two in Mumbai and two in Ahmedabad - as well as a cloud kitchen.

The menu at Swati Snacks includes traditional dishes, including Mukesh Ambani's favourite sev puri, pani puri and dahi batata puri. One great dish is panki, made from rice flour and cooked in banana leaves, which costs around Rs 230 and has gained popularity in the last few years.
