If you also want to make something special, that is tasty and very light to eat, then Poha Namkeen is the best option. It is quite easy to make this sweet and sour namkeen made from poha. Along with Poha, spices, dry fruits, makhana, sev, salt, and sugar are added to it.

It tastes so delicious that if you serve it to your guests, they will also ask for its recipe. You can also add coconut to it to enhance its taste. You can add spicy or sweet to it as per your taste. So, without wasting much time, let us tell you how to make this sweet and sour Poha namkeen at home so that delicious namkeen is kept in your house too.

Salting equipment
2 cups thin poha
1/4 cup peanuts
1/4 cup cashew nuts
1 teaspoon powdered sugar
1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
Salt to taste
1/4 cup roasted chana dal
10-15 curry leaves
2 tbsp oil

Method
First of all, put light oil in a big pan and heat it. After this, when the oil becomes hot, add poha to it. You have to fry this poha until it becomes crisp. Keep in mind that the gas should be very light, if the gas is strong then the poha may burn. When the poha is roasted, take it out on a plate.
Now again add two tablespoons of oil in the same pan. When the oil becomes hot, add peanuts to it and fry. After roasting peanuts, take them out and fry cashew nuts in the same pan. After it is roasted, add 1/4 cup roasted chana dal and 10-15 curry leaves in the pan.
When they are roasted properly, add turmeric and powdered sugar to the same pan. Lastly add poha, peanuts, and cashew nuts. Now add salt as per taste and mix it slowly. This namkeen is ready. You can keep it sealed in an airtight box.
