* Ingredients required to make Chana Dal Modak:

1. Rice flour

2. Gram dal

3. Grated coconut

4. Cardamom powder

5. Sesame oil

6. Jaggery

7. Ghee

8. Salt

9. Boiling water

10. Water

* Easy recipe to make Chana Dal Modak:

1. To make Chana Dal Modak, first put the dal and water in a pressure cooker and pressure cook till 4 whistles.

2. After this, cook again on low flame for 5 minutes. Switch off the flame, and open it after the cooker cools down.

3. Now take jaggery and water in a pan and heat it till it melts and filter it and keep it aside.

4. After this, put it back in the same pan and now add coconut, and cooked gram dal and mix well.

5. Now keep cooking it until it thickens and add cardamom powder, and ghee and mix well. Take it out in a bowl and let it cool.

6. After this, knead the dough. For this, take water in a pan, and add a pinch of salt and 1 teaspoon of oil it.

7. Now when the water boils, add rice flour to it and mix well. Now let it cool for 15 minutes.

8. After it cools down, add 1 teaspoon oil to it and knead a soft dough.

9. Now take the modak mold and apply some ghee on it. Now take a small portion of the dough and spread it evenly in the mold.

10. After this, place the stuffing in it and cover it with dough. 11 Now open the mold and place the modak on a plate.

12. After all the modaks are ready, place them in the steamer and steam for 8 to 10 minutes.

13. Delicious chana dal modak is prepared in this way.
