On hearing the name of Shrikhand, the first thing that comes to mind is Lord Shri Krishna. He loved things made from curd and milk. Shrikhand can also be considered as one of his favorite dishes. However, at present Shrikhand is eaten in abundance in Gujarat and Maharashtra. Its taste makes everyone from children to adults crazy.
Ingredients
500 grams thick curd
150 grams of icing sugar
3 grams of cardamom powder
5 grams saffron
2 drops rose water
10 liters milk
dry fruits cut into pieces
Recipe
To make Shrikhand, first, take a bowl. Soak saffron in milk.
- After this, make a paste by mixing curd, icing sugar, cardamom powder, saffron, rose water, milk, and dry fruits and keep it in a bowl.
- Wait for it to set. When it sets, garnish it with nuts and dry fruits.
