The government created this app to help the disabled people present in the country. Through this app, efforts are made to help disabled people in many ways. Now the government has decided to redesign this app.
The government is going to include some special features of AI technology in its app, due to which this app will become more convenient than before for the disabled people living in the country. According to a PTI report, Rajesh Aggarwal, Secretary, Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, while talking about this, said that, through AI technology, we will be able to analyze the annual reports, different schemes, recent data of the district and special decisions of the Supreme Court and High Court. For this, a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) has been signed between the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, National Association for the Blind, NGO Mission Accessibility and research institute I-STEM. Talking about this, Rajesh Aggarwal said that the purpose of this agreement is to make this app completely easy for disabled people so that with the help of AI features, they get a chance to use this app in many languages. Any specific information can be delivered with the help of AI technology.
He said that after the introduction of the AI feature in Sugamya Bharat App, people will get many special features like an AI chatbot, support of many languages, an easy interface, the facility to complain and the facility to give feedback. These facilities will empower thousands of disabled people across the country.
