The government runs many such schemes through which a large section gets benefits. If you are also eligible for any government scheme, then you can also apply. Every scheme has a provision to give benefits to different classes or people of different ages. For example, in a scheme, benefits are given to the workers working in the unorganized sector, and then in some schemes, there is a provision to give benefits to farmers. At the same time, there are many schemes through which women are given benefits.

In this sequence, there is a scheme called Subhadra Yojana, which was started this year on the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi i.e. on 17 September 2024. There is a provision to give the benefit of this scheme only to women, but if you also want to apply, then you have to check whether you are eligible or not. Actually, Subhadra Yojana was started so that women's empowerment could be promoted and they can be helped financially. The objective of this scheme is to benefit about one crore women. Also, this scheme will be run for the next 5 years i.e. from 2024-25 to 2028-29. If you are also eligible for this scheme, then you can apply and take advantage.

Which women get the benefit?
If you are also a woman and want to benefit by joining this Subhadra Yojana, then it becomes important for you to know that there are some eligibility and conditions of this scheme. Only those women who are eligible for this scheme are given financial help under this scheme.

If your age is between 21 to 60 years then you can apply
Only those women who are natives of Odisha get the benefit of this scheme and this is its most important condition.

What benefits are available?

Under the Subhadra Yojana, financial benefits are given to women. There is a provision to give Rs 10,000 annually to the women joining this scheme. This money is given to the women in two installments of Rs 5,000 each. The first installment was given to the beneficiaries on 17 September 2024.
