How do two boys get married?

For this marriage, a special group is given the task of finding boys for marriage in the village. Let us tell you that the Geria group living in the village itself finds two such boys without sacrificial rituals, who can be married, and when they find two boys, they bring them to the village temple by sitting on their shoulders. In this, the boy who meets first is made the groom and the boy who meets later is made the bride.

For marriage, both are dressed like bride and groom. Both the boys are taken to the mandap built in the temple along with all the family members. Is. After this, the chief priest of the village gets the marriage done with customs and rituals.

Why is this tradition followed?

This marriage is done with complete rituals. After completing seven rounds and seven vows in this marriage ceremony, both the boys also prepare for a procession. And in that, both the boys are made to sit in a bullock cart and taken around the whole village. The whole village also gives blessings and gifts to the newly married couple.

This tradition is very old and the people of the village believe that a nala is used to divide the village into two parts. To maintain the love between the two parts of Barodiya, people took this method and selected one boy from both parts of the village and got them married. Since then, the tradition of the marriage of two boys is going on in this village a day before Holi.
