Staff Selection Commission has released a recruitment notification. As per this recruitment notification, SSC has started the registration for Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical & Electrical) Examination, 2023. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for SSC JE 2023 at ssc.nic.in. The last date to submit the form is August 16. Opportunity will be given till 11 pm on August 17 to 18 to deposit the correction and correction fees in the application form. Let us tell you that the computer-based paper one exam is likely to be held in October. At present 1324 vacancies have been removed for this recruitment. Of these, 613 are unreserved, 121 EWS, 288 OBC, 96 ST, and 206 SC. The information about the vacancies of the Water Resources Department is not yet available.

Qualification

Age Range

The maximum age limit for some posts of this recruitment is 32 years and for some, it is 30 years. At the same time, SC, and ST categories will get 5 years and the OBC category will get 3 years relaxation in the maximum age limit.

Selected candidates on Group B Non-Gazetted posts will get 35400- 112400 salary under Level-6

Application fee

General and OBC candidates applying for these posts will have to pay Rs 100 as an application fee. On the other hand, SC, ST, Divyang classes, and women of all classes will not have to pay any fee.

Selection process

In this recruitment, the candidates will be selected based on marks obtained in Paper-1 and Paper-2. Both papers will be objective-type questions. There will be a one-third negative marking for every wrong answer in both.
