Popular music streaming platform Spotify has redesigned its user interface (UI) for MacBook and PC users. The company has given this information in a blog post. Along with redesigning the library, the company has tried to give the playing view of the desktop a mobile app-like experience. Along with this, users will also be able to easily access the saved music and podcast collection in their library. Along with this, Spotify has also repositioned 'Now Playing'.

Spotify desktop gets new UI
Spotify's new UI places the redesigned Library on the left side of the app window. By doing this, users will be able to access their saved music and podcast collection easily. The company says that it will offer users a better view than before. In the new design, users will be able to easily switch between playlists. At the same time, 'Now Playing View' has been placed on the right side of the window.

With the new design, Now Playing gives users access to songs, artists, and other information. Users also get transcripts of some podcasts. Along with this, Library and Now Playing can also be resized.

In the new design of the music streaming platform Spotify, users will also get a friend activity feed, which they can access by clicking on the 'friend' icon. You'll see this button next to your profile picture on the right corner of the window. The company hasn't made any changes to the core content area, where users browse to discover and recommend songs and podcasts. Spotify has rolled out this new user interface for desktops globally for MacBooks and personal computers.

Spotify CEO Daniel Ake announced a few days ago that he is testing the 'Your Offline Mix' feature on his platform these days. This will be the offline playlist of the users. Currently, Spotify allows users to manually download playlists for offline playback.
