Ingredients for Soya Idli
Soya Vadi - 1 cup
Rice - 2 cups
Moong dal - 1/2 cup
Oil – 1 tbsp
salt - as per taste

To make soya idli, take rice and soya vadi and soak both of them in separate utensils. After this, soak half a cup of moong dal as well. Soak them for 2-3 hours, after that take rice and put it in a strainer, and remove excess water from it. After this, put the rice in a mixer jar and grind it coarsely. Similarly, grind the soya vadi coarsely with the help of a mixer. Repeat the same process with moong dal and grind it to make a coarse paste.

Now take a big utensil and put ground soya vadi, ground rice, and moong dal paste in it and mix all three well. Now add salt as per taste to this mixture. After this, cover the mixture and keep it in a warm place for 5-6 hours. After the fixed time, take the mixture and whisk it once more. After this take idli mold and apply oil to it. Now put the prepared idli paste in the mold and cook it on steam by closing the lid. Idli will be cooked well in 10 minutes. Then take them out on a plate. Tasty and nutritious soya idli is ready. Serve it with sambar and coconut chutney.
